Slitherlink puzzles often show the authors' personalities in the layout of the hints. Then at Nikoli we thought that if we specify the layout, what differences in the flavor will the authors bring to the puzzles? And yes, we really tried it. We asked many authors to make a Slitherlink puzzle based on the same layout, and here we have 19 (nineteen!) of these puzzles.
Try them out and you will find some very similar parts in different puzzles, it is wonderfully enjoyable. Still, the authors did try to express themselves too, and you will find parts that are hard to solve. We think that some of the puzzles are maybe too involved, but that is how the authors came through. Try the puzzles and get a taste of author personality differences.
